National Centre for Advocacy Studies (NCAS), Pune announces a four day residential workshop on Media Advocacy Capacity Building from 22nd Mar to 25th Mar 2006 in Pune. Applications are invited from organisations interested in practising media advocacy to bring forth the human right issues.

To educate and build awareness on the issues and concerns related to the rights of children, eradication of child labour with special focus on the girl child and make this campaign a national movement.2. To bring children as one of the national priorities and on top of the development agenda. 3. To advocate for bringing pro-child policies/ legislations & its effective implementation in alignment with international standards of instruments.4. against Child Labour (CACL) are going to organize a National
Consultation on child Labor with media persons, which is proposed to be
held on February 25&26, 2006 at Bhubaneswar/Puri (Orissa).
You all are aware that 8th March is celebrated every
year as International Women's Day. We have decided to
celebrate it as a sammelan on 4th March at Alsisar
block headquarter of Jhunjhunu district. The theme
would be: "Women and their villages". On this occasion
around three hundred women will partcipate. This
gathering will include the women PRI representatives.
Many events will be organized on the issues like
Health and role of women, Education and women etc. We
have planned to celebrate this day in a very
attractive way.
We are happy enoungh to invite you to take part in
